I don't think that there is much you can do! My '86 has a noticeable vibration in the footpegs between 58 and 62. I just try to spend as little time as possible in that range. I think is has something to do with the harmonics of the engine. Also, my buddy's 2000 V-Star does the same thing at about the same speeds.
